Have you ever thought you wanted a product with our illustrations but with custom background and text? Well, you are in luck because starting from this month you can use the DBC Customizer for Zazzle shop on the DBC website! You can not only choose a breed of your liking but pick a background and write text to make your T-shirts and mugs just as unique as your best friend!
Here is how you can achieve it:
- Go to the Customizer and in the first tab named [ Breed ] search and pick your favorite breed out of 450+ breeds available on the site.
- After you’ve selected the breed you like, go to the second tab [ Style ] and choose one out of all styles currently available for the selected breed.
- The third step (also the third tab) is where the fun and real customization begins. Here you can choose the background to your liking which will then be displayed in the preview behind the breed you’ve selected. The colors displayed here are not the only colors for the selected background. The next tab [ Color ] has few variations of the background for you to choose for even more customization options.
- You can also write a short bit of custom text. If the product has an option for custom text, what you write will display on it. Want a mug with a good joke, a funny comment or show of affection? Not a problem! Not to mention that this can be a perfect way to wish somebody happy birthday, congratulate on a promotion, or anything else really.
You’ve probably noticed that after every option you choose the preview box on the right side gets updated with your choices. You can also see a quick preview of how the chosen combination of breed, background and custom text will look like on the product you are interested in.

Don’t be mistaken, this is just a preview! You’ll have many more options for customizing the product itself once you press Buy This Product and transfer to the Zazzle Shop! You don’t want a T-Shirt? No problem, you can pick Slim Fit Racerback, ¾ Sleeve Shirt or Hooded Sweatshirt, to name a few. The same thing goes for Mugs, Hats, Phone Cases… Basically, you can additionally customize any product in our Zazzle shop!
And this is just the beginning! In the future, we plan to add more products for you to choose from. We are also going to regularly update the customizer with some new background and color options you can choose, as well as create more variants for the backgrounds currently available.
